Sew Organised Style Podcast

Sew Organised Style Podcast

I recently had the absolute pleasure of being interviewed on the Sew Organised Style Podcast with the wonderful Maria, and the episode is now live.

It was such a lovely conversation. Maria took the time to explore my background, how Sneaker Stitch began, and the journey that led me to where I am today. We talked about the creative path that sewing can take you on, the challenges of starting something new, and the passion that keeps small creative businesses going.

Maria is part of the Sew Over 50 team and hosts this fantastic podcast that highlights people across the sewing and creative industries. What makes the podcast even more impressive is that Maria does everything herself. She hosts the conversations, produces the show, records the video, manages the sound, and brings each episode together with genuine care and curiosity. She has a wonderful way of getting right to the heart of people’s stories.

Maria’s journey began with a simple belief: if she could make something herself, then she could share that love with others. From that idea, she has built a platform that connects makers and sewists from around the world, creating meaningful conversations and sharing the stories behind the creativity.

If you enjoy sewing, making, or hearing about the journeys behind creative businesses, the Sew Organised Style Podcast is definitely worth a listen.

You might also like to explore Sew Over 50 a vibrant global community created by Sandy here in Brisbane and Judith in the UK. Together, they’ve built a supportive network that celebrates sewists over 50 and works to help them be seen and represented in the media. If that sounds like you, it could be a wonderful community to be part of.

I hope you enjoy the conversation as much as I enjoyed being part of it.
