Meet The Sneaker Stitch Team.

Leesa

Meet Leesa – Founder of Sneaker Stitch
Leesa is the heart and sole of Sneaker Stitch (pun intended!). As the founder and driving force behind the business, you'll often find her making more sneakers, planning upcoming events and shows, running classes, and keeping the website in shape.

 

She also manages teacher accreditations, marketing, and everything else that comes with running a small business – wearing all the hats with creativity and care.

 

Leesa previously taught thousands of students to sew through her much-loved Sewing Adventures Studio,  Her passion for fabric and shoes continues to shine through in everything she creates – and she loves inspiring others to stitch up their own sneaker stories.

Alana

Alana has been working alongside Leesa for over five years, both in Brisbane and now virtually from her dream tree-change lifestyle in rural Tasmania.

 

She takes care of the behind-the-scenes magic—managing the website, customer relations, workflow processes, and systems. Her role is essential to the smooth operation of Sneaker Stitch and the success of Together Event Co’s market events such as the Sewing Destash Market.

 

Now living her best country life with her husband, daughter, and a small farm of animals, Alana brings calm, clarity, and a touch of countryside charm to everything she does.

 

 

Jo

Meet Jo – Our Newest Team Member at Sneaker Stitch! Jo has recently stepped into an exciting new role with the Sneaker Stitch team. With a rich background in retail quilt shops, a lifelong love of sewing, and a particular passion for bag making, Jo is a natural fit for our creative crew.

 

She’ll be lending her talents to packing orders, creating gorgeous samples, and supporting the team at events and shows.

 

Jo is currently curating her own custom sneaker collection – not just for herself, but also for her kids and grandkids (and she’s this close to convincing her hubby he needs a pair too!).

 

Based in Brisbane, Jo is never far from her incredible fabric stash and proudly admits to a full-blown Tula Pink obsession.

 

 

Abby

Meet Abby – Our Kit-Packing Pro!
 

Abby is the behind-the-scenes helper at Sneaker Stitch, balancing her high school studies with part-time work. She’s the one carefully packing your kits, tools, and products – usually with her headphones on and a podcast playing in the background.

 

Based in Brisbane, Abby loves her two doggies, her close-knit friend tribe, and is a passionate book lover always ready for her next read.
